Opinions, editorials, graphics, reviews, commentaries, audio, photographs and/or videos published on this site (ucentralmedia.com) represent the views of the student creator and not necessarily the views of UCentral Student Media, the Department of Mass Communication, the University of Central Oklahoma or Regional University System of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education. ABOUT UCENTRAL:
UCentral is the student media network at the University of Central Oklahoma, featuring traditional media (television, radio, newspaper) and new media (web, netcasts, social networking) created by students majoring in professional media. UCentral is located within the Mass Communication Department on the campus of UCO.
UCentral is a member of Oklahoma Education Broadcast Association, College Media Advisors, Collegiate Broadcasters Incorporated and Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters, The Oklahoma Press Association, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the Associated Collegiate Press and the Associated Press.

Radio
The University of Central Oklahoma’s student radio station is UCentral Radio 99.3 FM (UCO’s Best Mix) and licensed in Edmond, Oklahoma. Officially KZUC-LP, UCentral Radio is a non-commercial, educational station operated by Mass Communication students majoring in Professional Media through classes preparing them for on-air and production positions. TV / Netcasts
Starting in 1976 as KCSU-TV, UCentral features several award-winning HDTV and netcast programs such as UCentral News, the daily student newscast; The Huddle, a weekly football highlight program during the fall; Conspiracy Weekly, an in-depth look at untold truths; Cup of Joe Quiz Show, a light-hearted, trivia-based game show with a prize; and TBSR, a focus on UCO players during the spring semester.
All programs are available online at ucentralmedia.com, on the UCentral iPhone app, and in the city of Edmond, Oklahoma on Cox digital channel 125.

Newspaper
The Vista was established in 1903 as the student newspaper of the University of Central Oklahoma and is the longest, continually published student newspaper in the state. It is distributed free of charge on the UCO campus and designated off-campus locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the fall and spring semesters. Featuring the combined, journalistic efforts of the campus newspaper and student newscast, the ucentralmedia.com website, social media sites (@ucentralmedia on twitter, youtube, and instagram) provide students, faculty, alumni and others the ability to read news articles, view photos, watch video programs and listen live to the student radio station.
