Patti Neuhold Named New University of Central Oklahoma President

Patti Neuhold, current vice president for Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the University of Central Oklahoma, has been named as the 21st President of UCO.

Neuhold joined the university in 2007 and have been serving in leadership in finance and budget, administrative and professional development departments. She balanced UCO’s $187 millions budget through years of the most significant declines in state support and declining enrollment.
“Patti Neuhold has the leadership experience and vision for the university that will help prepare our students to contribute ideas, innovation and solutions to the marketplace,” said Mark Stansberry, RUSO regent chair, in a press release. “Her blend of financial acumen, organizational development and understanding of what industry needs will help UCO continue to lead in education and workforce development.”
The Regional University System of Oklahoma has conducted a national search since October and made the decision today. The search committee was a cross-section of regents, UCO employees, students, alumni and community leaders.

UCO President Don Betz will retire June 30, 2019.

The Vista will have more information on next week issue on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
