Chambers Library Host Juneteenth Exhibit

UCO’s Max Chambers Library hosted an exhibition today telling the story of Juneteenth.

Researcher, Philip Tolbert’s exhibit showcases the story of the day that slaves were declared free. Tolbert is known for creating informative displays and programs exploring African American inventors, wisdom, and advocates for freedom and Black Wall Street. A reception followed the presentation and the Juneteenth exhibit will be on display until March 1st.
