UCO to Celebrate Fall 2025 Graduates
The University of Central Oklahoma will celebrate its Fall 2025 graduates during in-person commencement ceremonies scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, and Saturday, Dec. 13, in Central’s Hamilton Field House on the UCO campus.
The ceremonies mark the culmination of students’ academic journeys and recognize their achievements before family, friends, and university faculty. Each event will feature remarks from UCO officials, distinguished guests, and student representatives, highlighting the university’s continued emphasis on student success and lifelong learning.
Commencement times are divided by college. The College of Education and Professional Studies will hold its ceremony at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, followed by the Jackson College of Graduate Studies at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 13, the College of Business and College of Liberal Arts will celebrate their graduates at 10 a.m., and the College of Mathematics and Science, along with the College of Fine Arts and Design, will conclude the weekend with a ceremony at 2 p.m.
Graduation regalia, including the cap, gown, tassel, cords, and other items, is required for all students participating in the commencement ceremonies. Regalia can be purchased at the UCO Barnes & Noble Bookstore in the Nighth University Center or ordered online through the Herff Jones website.
Students may also attend Graduation Central, a one-stop event for graduates to purchase regalia and connect with university departments to prepare for graduation. Those unable to attend can still purchase all necessary items from the bookstore anytime after Graduation Central or online.
Each graduate will receive five guest tickets for family and friends to attend their ceremony. Ticket information was sent to all eligible graduates in November, along with instructions for downloading tickets through the university’s online system.
For guests unable to attend in person, each ceremony will be livestreamed on UCO OnDemand and the UCO Facebook page, with the webcast beginning 15 minutes before the start of each ceremony.
Students who complete all degree requirements during the fall semester and have no outstanding debts to the university will have their diplomas mailed in late January 2026. The date is approximate and subject to change based on processing times. For more information, students can visit the UCO Degree Certification website or contact the Office of Degree Certification by ucocommencement@uco.edu or call 405-974-2392.
