MidFirst Bank Offers Six $500 Scholarships

The MidFirst Bank is partnering with the University of Central Oklahoma to award six students a $500 scholarship for submitting one photo of the UCO campus or mascot by December 5. 2025 at 5:00 p.m., it will be displayed at the Nigh University Center.

The UCO Student Photography Contest began on Sept. 19. It is only open to entrants who are enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma by the entry date.

Those who enter the contest must be nonprofessional photographers and receive no compensation in exchange for the photographic images. Those who have a relationship with MidFirst Bank–whether through work or relation to an employee–are not eligible to enter this contest. 

For all entries, only one original, in-color photograph can be submitted per student, regardless of entry method, and must be received by the Sponsor during the entry period. The photos should be 36” wide x 24” tall JPEG file at 300 dpi or higher resolution, submitted to the Box at this link.

The photo should be UCO-themed with campus elements–mascot, logo, building, etcetera. MidFirst Bank will display the winning photographs in the Nigh University banking center during the spring semester.

When submitting your photo, they ask to include your first and last names as you would like them to appear on the display of your photo, as well as your phone number, email address, UCO student ID number, and classification.

Six winners will be selected and notified of their $500 scholarship by Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. MidFirst Bank will print the winning photos on a canvas and display them in the MidFirst banking center at the NUC during the spring semester for UCO students, faculty, and alumni to enjoy.
