IKEA Announces First Oklahoma Location

Big news for IKEA fans, Oklahoma will soon be getting its first ever IKEA store in Tulsa. The company announced plans to open a 51,000 square foot location at Tulsa Hills Shopping Center in 2026. While traditional IKEA stores are typically much larger, the company is shifting toward smaller format stores as part of its nationwide expansion. The Tulsa site is one of four new US locations set to open in 2026. Others include Chicago, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Los Angeles. An exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet, and hiring details and construction timelines are still yet to come.
