Heard on Hurd Concludes 2025 Season
Heard on Hurd, a monthly street festival, has concluded its 2025 season after another series of events in downtown Edmond.
Heard on Hurd, organized by Citizens Bank of Edmond, is held every third Saturday from March through October. Each event features local food trucks, retail vendors, and live music performances, drawing large crowds to the downtown area. More than 60 food trucks and vendors typically participate in the festival, along with three local music acts.
Since launching in 2014, Heard on Hurd has grown into one of the most well-attended community events and has become a resident staple in Edmond. The increased foot traffic has provided a consistent boost for nearby restaurants, shops, and small businesses. The festival also offers opportunities for emerging local artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their work in front of new audiences.
Citizens Bank of Edmond President and Heard on Hurd founder, Jill Castilla, said the event has boosted economic activity downtown, but emphasized that the bank does not profit from it.
“We don’t make any money with Heard on Hurd,” Castilla said.
“We use it as an opportunity for the Edmond Public Schools Foundation to really celebrate what they do and be able to engage their student ambassadors, so that we’re able to increase the opportunities for grants for our great teachers.”
Heard on Hurd is expected to return in the spring with new vendors and live music, and planning is already underway. Updates and announcements are available on the event’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
