Gov. Stitt Appoints Lindel Fields as State Superintendent of Education

A new State Superintendent of Education has been announced. Lindel Fields has been named by Governor Stitt to serve out the rest of Ryan Walters’ term after Walters’ resignation. Fields has worked in the Oklahoma education system for thirty years, working at Tri-County Tech, a technical school located in Bartlesville, from 1999 to 2021. Fields then went on to become the CEO of Your Culture Coach, a company that according to its website works at “elevating education leaders and transforming cultures to recruit and retain passionate, loyal team members through world class training.”
