3. Benefiting BronchoThon
The Cheer and Dance event is in collaboration with BronchoThon, a yearlong student organization that focuses on philanthropy. The organization raises funds for the Children’s Health Foundation.
“Our goal is to have a big turnout and support the organizations, as well as support the Children’s Health Foundation,” Sander said.

Sander said she wants the crowd to come “lively and supportive.”

There will also be a table for fan favorites at the event. Attendees can insert money into a specific group’s jar as a way to vote them as their favorite. Toward the end of the event, the fan favorite will be revealed as well as how much money they raised.
“I just want everyone to come out and support your favorite organization. If you don’t have a favorite organization, still come because this event is probably my favorite thing on campus,” Sander said. “I just love being able to watch everyone be so creative and have fun. I think that the crowd has fun, even if they’re not directly involved because they get to watch the organizations and all of their personalities shine.”
